Welcome to Ampfield Golf & Country Club
“Home to the original 18 Hole Par 3 Course in England”
Ampfield Golf Club was founded in the early 1960’s and was the original 18 Hole Par 3 Course in the Country. The Course was designed by three times major winner, Sir Henry Cotton, one of the legendary golfers of his era.
We are one of the most beautiful and enjoyable, privately owned, short courses in the Country and we warmly welcome visitors, societies and corporate golfers, 7 days a week.
We offer the ideal place to improve your short game, to learn how to play or simply enjoy a great day out with friends. Our unique course is sure to test even the most advanced golfer.
There is no doubt that we are now one of the finest 18 Hole Par 3 Courses in England and also one of the longest at 2314 yards – our longest hole being 181 yards.
Our course is kept in fantastic condition and since coming under new ownership several years ago has seen impressive and vast course improvements, all adding to your golfing enjoyment.
Not only are we a highly regarded short course, we are now also one of the leading function venues in the County. Catering for a wide variety of private events, from weddings, birthdays, association lunches and dinners and much more.
We are proud to offer an exceptional standard of catering and first class service to match. To find out more about our catering facilities please visit the Private events section or visit our sister site, Restaurant 54
Non-Members are welcome at all times.
